Title: Estimation of Distribution Algorithms: Past, Present and Future

Abstract: The talk will begin by analyzing the number of publications over the past 30 years, from both conferences and journals on estimation of distribution algorithms, at both the country level and within thematic categories, grouped into: methodology, theory, optimization applications, and machine learning applications. Next, the most relevant works in each of these four categories will be presented, discussing the trends in each. We will conclude the talk with reflections on the future of estimation of distribution algorithms.
